Colleagues from Ovidius University of Constanța (Romania) hosted a key dissemination event on July 25 as part of the Digital Language and Communication Training for EU Scientists (DILAN) project, under the title “DILAN Project – Highlights and Perspectives”
The event focused on presenting the progress achieved to date and outlining upcoming activities within Work Package 4 (WP4) of the ERASMUS+ DILAN project. Coordinated by Associate Professor Alina Buzatu, Professor Monica Vlad, and Professor Diana Hornoiu, the event brought together project contributors and members of the academic community to share insights and outcomes.

Participants detailed the implementation of digital resources aimed at enhancing science communication and presented the training courses developed within the DILAN framework. These courses are specifically designed to support professionals in both STEM and non-STEM fields by improving their digital communication skills.
A highlight of the event was the contribution of doctoral students who had taken part in the asynchronous pilot course focused on online science communication. They shared their experiences and discussed the impact of the training on their professional development, underlining the practical value and relevance of the DILAN project.
The event reaffirmed Ovidius University’s commitment to promoting innovation in education and fostering the digital competencies of researchers and academics across Europe.
